From Pagan times to modern times there has always been a bit of debauch in this festive, yet religiously based holiday. Join us this night for a round table discussion on the pagan roots, political satire and religious fervor embedded in Fat Tuesday. Discuss the more hidden New Orleans Mardi Gras traditions like Baby Dolls, the Skull and Bone gangs, Mardi Gras Indians with the locals (plus a bit of drink and debauch)!
January 25th, 6.30 P.M. Lafittes Blacksmith Shop Bar, 941 Bourbon Street. Gather in the courtyard and brainstorm together in Bloody Mary’s open Le Salon.
